Shanghai, 9 April 2026 – The 110th China International Occupational Safety & Health Goods Expo (CIOSH 2026) concluded successfully at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC). Marking its 60th anniversary, this milestone edition was held under the theme "The Power of Protection". Spanning 80,000 square meters, the exhibition brought together 1,364 leading domestic and international enterprises. It served as a premier platform for showcasing cutting-edge products and innovative solutions across the personal protective equipment (PPE) and industrial safety technology sectors, attracting 43,750 professional visitors for business exchange.
Delivering strong commercial outcomes, CIOSH also featured high-level forums, immersive experiences, and a diverse programme of interactive activities. Together, these elements provided a comprehensive reflection of the industry’s steady advancement towards greater intelligence, digitalization, and sustainability.
Mr. Lei Limin, Chairman of the China Textile Commerce Association (CTCA), remarked, "From a traditional exhibition to an industry benchmark, CIOSH has evolved in step with China’s development. At this new juncture, it is accelerating its transformation from a trading platform into a hub for innovation and industrial integration, driving upgrades through new materials, processes, and standards, and supporting Chinese protective brands in gaining global recognition.”
Ms. Evian Gu, General Manager of Messe Düsseldorf (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., commented, “Over the past six decades, CIOSH has witnessed the PPE industry’s transformation from basic protective products to smart wearables and integrated safety solutions in China. This year, we were delighted to see significant progress from exhibitors in technological innovation, standards alignment and global expansion. Looking ahead, CIOSH will continue to strengthen its platform value and support the international growth of China’s occupational safety and health industry.”

Here, exhibitors and visitors can truly communicate face to face and experience products firsthand, something no digital tool can replace.”
Inaugural EHS Forum Draws Top Voices, Demo Zones Showcase Safety in Practice
The 2026 China Work Safety and Corporate Sustainability Forum (EHS Forum) was held concurrently, bringing together experts and business leaders for in depth discussions on sustainable safety management systems, smart protection technologies and workplace mental health. Technical Seminars focused on regulatory standards, innovation and international market access, creating a dialogue platform that bridges policy and practice. Additionally, a Safety Fashion Show presented by DuPont, HLA and TenCate featured models wearing advanced protective gear in dynamic, scenario-based demonstrations, systematically presenting head to toe protection solutions.
The EXO Park showcased a range of powered exoskeletons, with visitors reporting reduced strain on the lower back and shoulders, as well as enhanced working comfort following hands-on trials. The Fall Protection Zone simulated high-altitude working conditions, allowing participants to learn correct harness usage through live drop demonstrations. Together, these experiential formats translated advanced safety concepts into practical applications, reinforcing the value of integrating theory with real-world practice.
Sixty Years of Heartfelt Moments: Celebrating Legacy and Compassion in Action
To mark its 60th anniversary, CIOSH curated a series of theme showcases combining stage performances and visual storytelling to trace the industry’s six-decade journey. A History Gallery featured archival photographs alongside an interactive photo area, while the PPEvolve Time Corridor illustrated the transition from basic protection to intelligent, connected solutions. The Love Save Pneumoconiosis Zone maintained high levels of engagement, with visitors using VR devices to experience the breathing difficulties of pneumoconiosis patients and actively participating in charity sales, allowing the spirit of public welfare to take root at the exhibtion.
What They're Saying: Unanimous Praise from the Industry
Exhibitors spoke highly of CIOSH's platform value. Mr. Yan Fuyun, General Manager of Purp Frog Technology (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd., said, "CIOSH in Shanghai and A+A in Germany are the two best shows in the global industry. If you want to enter the Chinese market and find suppliers, CIOSH is a must." Mr. Forest Wang, General Manager of SKYLOTEC Group GmbH (China Branch), noted, “We have been exhibiting for over ten years. This exhibition covers all categories of protection and gives you a clear view of both global and domestic industry trends. The organizers are responsive and professional in everything from booth planning to exhibitor services." Mr. Kevin Zhao, General Manager of Shanghai Sino-Safe Co., Ltd., commented, "As China's manufacturing sector transforms into a global leader, the PPE market has huge potential. CIOSH brings us quality clients and real returns, and the professionalism of its visitors grows every year.”
Professional visitors also gave strong positive feedback. Mr. Ariel Teodoro Paredes Martinez, General Manager of Peru’s Parei Trading, said, "I came here primarily to find PPE suppliers for the mining industry. Many exhibitors can offer customized solutions, which impressed me." Mr. Alberto Garcia, CEO of Colombia's Gales, commented, "China is advancing rapidly in the PPE field, and product standards are catching up with those of Europe and the US. Protective equipment is about the life safety of every worker, and this exhibition has tremendous social value." Mr. Wang Liming, EHS Manager at Aptar, said, "The product range is extremely comprehensive. I can see many cutting-edge products in one place, and the fall protection solutions in particular are exactly what we need." Mr. An Yiqiang, Safety Engineering Manager at Georg Fischer, visiting for the first time, remarked, "It is a large, highly professional fair that provides an excellent platform connecting companies with advanced industry products and I have collected multiple contacts.”
Speakers at the EHS Forum also provided affirmation from an industry perspective. Mr. Zhang Zhiyin, General Director of the Shanghai Municipal Emergency Management Bureau Law Enforcement Department, noted, “The very essence of workplace safety is PPE. I suggest introducing more scenario-based simulations at CIOSH, which would greatly benefit product marketing and user education.” Mr. Song Yuanjun, Deputy Director of the EHS Department at CETC LES Information Systems Group Co., Ltd., said, “What we care most about are domestic substitution and new technological equipment. CIOSH has already done an excellent job in these areas. I have no further suggestions, only continued participation.”
From 1966 to 2026, CIOSH has traveled a brilliant six-decade journey. Over these sixty years, what has changed is the constant iteration of technology and equipment; what has remained unchanged is the simple, heartfelt mission of protecting every worker’s safe return home. CIOSH 2026 was not just an industry event. It became a gathering point for safety culture and the spirit of the PPE industry.
