Six Decades of Guardianship, Smart Protection for the Future: The 110th CIOSH Opens in Shanghai this April

From April 7 to 9, 2026, the 110th China International Occupational Safety & Health Goods Expo (CIOSH 2026) will be held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. Spanning approximately 80,000 square meters, this edition is expected to attract nearly 1,400 exhibitors from home and abroad, showcasing cutting-edge products and innovative solutions in personal protective equipment (PPE) and work safety technologies, further cementing its status as the premier bellwether for the occupational safety and health sector in Asia.

This year marks the 60th anniversary of CIOSH. Since the inaugural National Labor Protection Commodity Supply Fair in 1966, the exhibition has traversed a full cycle of six decades. Over these sixty years, China’s labor protection industry has undergone a transformative leap—from traditional protective gear such as canvas gloves and cotton gauze masks to intelligent, green, and digitally-driven technological solutions. As both a witness to and driver of industry development, CIOSH has chronicled and actively participated in the industry’s journey from inception to growing strength. Under this year’s theme, “The Power of Protection”, CIOSH honors the remarkable achievements of the past while looking ahead to the future of safety ecosystems. It brings together leading domestic and international brands—including DuPont, Ansell, MSA, Uvex, 3M, CM Mask, Xingyu, HANVO, and others—to embark on a new chapter together.

As CIOSH’s global strategic partner, A+A—the world's No.1 trade fair for safety, security and health at work—will further deepen collaboration with CIOSH. Leveraging A+A’s global network and expertise, CIOSH’s international influence will steadily grow, empowering Chinese enterprises to integrate into global supply chains and fortify safety barriers for workers worldwide through the strength of “Made in China”.

2026 China Work Safety and Corporate Sustainability Forum: Shaping a New Paradigm for EHS Management

As China’s work safety landscape enters a critical phase of technological iteration, regulatory refinement, and deeper practical integration, enterprises face an evolving environment and increasingly stringent safety requirements, creating a pressing need for a platform focused on pragmatic solutions and collaborative dialogue. In response, CIOSH will launch the inaugural 2026 China Work Safety and Corporate Sustainability Forum during the exhibition.

Centered around four core themes—policy and regulations, technological innovation and intelligent safety, cultural building and multidimensional management coordination, and industry-specific EHS practices—the forum will feature over 20 high-level keynote speeches and roundtable discussions. Leading EHS experts from organizations including the Ministry of Emergency Management, Novartis, Siemens Energy, Li Auto and Lear will share practical experience and actionable solutions in work safety and corporate sustainability, offering valuable guidance for companies aiming to build systematic and intelligent safety management systems.

Technical Seminars: Focusing on Compliance and Standards to Drive Industry Upgrades

Concurrently, over 10 specialized technical seminars will be held, addressing critical topics such as regulatory frameworks, product certification, and green transformation. These sessions will provide authoritative insights into the latest regulations on quality traceability and green certification for protective equipment, as well as in-depth analysis of testing standards and certification requirements for PPE entering European and North American markets. These efforts aim to help Chinese companies navigate domestic and international market access rules with precision, leveraging standardization to steer the industry toward high-quality development.

EXO Park: Envisioning the Future of Work

With the deepening of industrial intelligence, exoskeletons have emerged as a key technology for enhancing operational efficiency and reducing physical strain on workers. This year’s EXO Park not only features domestic innovators like RoboCT, Zhiyuan Research Institute, and Yujie Intelligence showcasing their human-machine interaction products but also welcomes two authoritative experts from the world-renowned Fraunhofer IPA in Germany. They will deliver a keynote address on “Occupational Exoskeletons – Opportunities and potentials for the manual workforce of the future”, offering an in-depth analysis of European exoskeleton technology trends and engaging in dialogue with domestic companies to explore the application potential of exoskeleton technology in occupational safety and health.

Safety Fashion Show: A Head-to-Toe Showcase of Protective Equipment

As one of the highlights of the 60th-anniversary celebrations, the Safety Fashion Show returns with renewed energy. “CIOSH 60th Anniversary Theme Show: Evolution of Safety, Guardians of Glory” will take visitors on a journey through time, vividly depicting the evolution of protective equipment from traditional gear to modern intelligent solutions. “DuPont Personal Protection Fashion Show: Innovative Protection · Trusted Safety” will spotlight cutting-edge material technologies. In addition, the “Joint Fashion Show:Made for Life, We Protect People Who Protect Us”, presented by HLA Protection and TenCate, will seamlessly blend functionality of protective gear with design aesthetics, setting new trends at the intersection of safety and style.

Fall Protection Zone: Hands-On Training to Strengthen Safety at Heights

A dedicated Fall Protection Zone will be established in Hall E6, bringing together nearly 50 leading brands in the field of fall protection from China and abroad—including MODE, SKYLOTEC, PETZL, JECH, and SKYER—to showcase systematic protection products and integrated solutions for working at height. Multiple professional demonstrations will be held daily within the zone. In addition to equipment usage training and high-angle rescue drills led by exhibiting brands, a “Free Demo Session” will allow exhibitors to flexibly demonstrate product features based on visitor interest. Through immersive and interactive experiences, professional visitors will gain a firsthand understanding of equipment performance and enhance their practical skills.

CIOSH 2026 is not merely a grand gathering for the entire industry; it is a moment to honor the past and embrace a new beginning. We cordially invite industrial professionals from across the global safety and health community to join us in Shanghai and witness this extraordinary journey of protection across time.

CIOSH 2026 runs for three days. Opening hours are 09:00-17:30 on April 7-8, and 09:00–15:00 on April 9.
