Greater International Presence and Higher Professional Level: Successful Conclusion of CIOSH 2024

On April 27, 2024, the 106th China International Occupational Safety & Health Goods Expo (CIOSH 2024), organized by the China Textile Commerce Association (CTCA) and Messe Düsseldorf (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (MDS), concluded successfully at the Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNICE). The fair ground was bustling with events and brimming with business opportunities. CIOSH 2024 gathered 1,505 exhibitors from 19 countries and regions, with an exhibition area spanning 80,000 square meters. Over the three days, the exhibition welcomed 40,866 professional visitors. These visitors included end-users from industries such as mechanical manufacturing, construction, chemical, coal mining, as well as professional buyer groups consisting of distributors, e-commerce platforms, wholesalers, agents, and industry associations. The grand scale of CIOSH 2024 further solidified the unshakable industry position of CIOSH as the leading trade and exchange platform for occupational safety and health in Asia.

 

Yielding Bountiful Results for Both Exhibitors and Trade Visitors

CIOSH 2024 was a constellation of excellent participators, gathering numerous high-quality enterprises from across the entire value chain of the global market for occupational safety and health. For the first time, 3 International Pavilions were set up for exhibitors from countries and regions including Germany, Italy, Spain, Pakistan, the Czech Republic, South Korea, Australia, Malaysia, India, Hong Kong SAR, Taiwan Region. The exhibition provided a comprehensive display of innovative achievements and the latest trends in the field of occupational safety and health, earning considerable praise and recognition from both exhibitors and visitors.

This year, we have seen many new products and business models in the fair ground, which have provided us with considerable inspiration. 8 Industry Technical Seminars and 2 Special Zones: Brimming with Popularity for Concurrent Events

The Industry Technical Seminars held concurrently with CIOSH attracted more than 700 participants and brought together outstanding enterprises from various sectors of the industry, industry heavyweights, certified testers, and technical managers. They shared their experiences and research findings from multiple perspectives, particularly focusing on market trends, innovative technologies, and application solutions that are of great concern in the industry.

 

As a popular section of CIOSH, high-altitude safety attracted nearly a hundred fall protection companies this year to showcase advanced high-altitude safety equipment and solutions on-site. Fall Protection Zone in Hall E6, featuring a three-day fall protection demonstration, once again became the focus with its professional and intuitive high-altitude protection guidance and interactive activities.

 

CIOSH 2024 officially included exoskeleton products and technologies, as well as related digital solutions, within the exhibit category. These equipment and technologies are not only capable of preventing and reducing the occurrence of occupational diseases but also assist enterprises in enhancing productivity and creating a healthier work environment. In the Exoskeleton Technology Experience Zone (EXO Park), visitors wore upper limb and waist exoskeleton robots provided by ULS Robotics, ZOE-robotics, and MEBOTX to simulate actual application operations, experiencing the increased strength and endurance after the integration of human and machine.

 

CIOSH Thailand: Next Stop for Sourcing Premium PPE Products in Southeast Asia

CIOSH casts its eyes on overseas markets when having a steady development in China, launching its first overseas sub-exhibition this June — CIOSH Thailand (Thailand International Exhibition for Personal Protective Equipment) — in Bangkok, Thailand.

 

CIOSH Thailand is jointly organized by the China Textile Commerce Association (CTCA), Messe Düsseldorf Asia Pte Ltd. (MDA), and Messe Düsseldorf (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (MDS). With the strong collaboration of the three parties, it aims to create a specialized trade platform for personal protective equipment in Southeast Asia and lead “Made in China” to the world stage. To date, 261 companies have confirmed their participation, with an exhibition area of nearly 10,000 square meters. CIOSH Thailand will be taking place from June 5-7, 2024 at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC).

The 108th China International Occupational Safety & Health Goods Expo (CIOSH 2025) will be held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) on April 15th-17th,2025.
